Drive Business Growth as a Retail Leader

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced retail leader to join our team. As a key member of the Retail organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage retail business end-to-end for subcategories or vendor groups, including top-line to free cash flow.
  • Secure great prices, drive selection, and improve convenience/speed to accelerate Amazon's flywheel.
  • Audit and escalate vendor performance, focusing on top vendors while managing lower-tier vendors.
  • Negotiate terms and cost structures, develop long-term partnerships, and drive category growth.
  • Collaborate with central and functional teams to represent customer and business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Team management experience.
  • Account management, project or program management, or buying experience.
  • Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing, and promotion or inventory management.
  • Master's degree.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
