Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead assigned projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring successful business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive execution risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead small to medium complexity projects, playing a support role on larger projects.
  • Manage and validate financial forecasts, conducting ongoing reconciliation.
  • Break down strategic problems, analyzing data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor and track performance, addressing any issues.
  • Provide guidance to the project sponsor on implementation and sustainment, resulting in successful project outcomes.
  • Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring all project processes are completed.
  • Develop and execute change management plans, socializing and measuring to deliver expected project benefits and adoption.
  • Execute project requirements in governance frameworks, focusing on risk appetite, regulatory, and compliance standards.
  • Develop all related project management artifacts, complying with applicable enterprise standards.
  • Monitor and control project deliverables, making recommendations and adjustments to the overall project plan.
  • Provide project sponsor with advice on the viability of the business case throughout the project.
  • Understand project interdependencies, demonstrating critical thinking to identify project risks and establish effective risk mitigation.
  • Demonstrate stakeholder partnership, effectively communicating with the project sponsor, gaining and building trust and rapport.
  • Demonstrate ownership and commitment, holding themselves accountable for the identification and resolution of project problems.
  • Lead and/or represent the project in project team meetings, governance forums, and inter-department forums.
  • Adhere to Bank risk, regulatory, and compliance controls.
Requirements
  • Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project management experience - 2 to 4 years.

BMO Financial Group offers a competitive salary range of $50,400.00 - $93,600.00, a salaried pay type, and a comprehensive total compensation package including performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other perks and rewards.
