Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our interdisciplinary team of engineers. As a Machine Learning Engineer at Ambush, you will be responsible for researching ways to improve Machine Learning models and algorithms, improving data collection pipelines, developing and training Machine Learning models, and deploying them in production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and develop new Machine Learning models and algorithms to improve our surveillance solutions;
  • Improve data collection pipelines to ensure high-quality data for our Machine Learning models;
  • Develop and train Machine Learning models using PyTorch, Pandas, and Numpy;
  • Deploy Machine Learning models in production and simulate new algorithms running in production;
  • Compare and evaluate Machine Learning models and algorithms;
  • Work with Machine Learning models that run on the edge and process signals from multiple sensors;
  • Produce well-written research in English and develop analysis and visualization tools in Python;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Hardware, Firmware, Embedded Linux, Backend, Frontend, and Mobile;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Machine Learning and related technologies.
Requirements
  • Past experience with Machine Learning and Data Analysis;
  • Past experience with Python for Data Analysis and Software Development;
  • Knowledge of modern Machine Learning models, including Convolutional Networks and Recurrent Networks;
  • Experience with PyTorch, Pandas, Numpy, and Jupyter;
  • Familiarity with SQL queries and signal processing techniques;
  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of Probability and Statistics;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in software development;
  • Knowledge of Rust, C, and C++;
  • Familiarity with sensors, wireless communication, and embedded systems;
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems;
  • Past experience with research and development.
