As a seasoned Backend Software Developer, you will be instrumental in enhancing the maintainability, performance, and scalability of our platform.

About this Role

We are seeking an expert in software development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, object-oriented programming concepts, and experience working with large monolithic applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Debt Management
    • Identify, analyze, and address areas of technical debt across the platform;
    • Upgrade platform dependencies and ensure compatibility through comprehensive testing;
  • Legacy Code Refactoring
    • Refactor legacy code, remove redundant logic, and simplify complex modules while preserving functionality;
  • Developer Experience Enhancement
    • Maintain and enhance developer experience by improving CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and internal tooling;
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure specifications are being met;
    • Participate in architecture improvement efforts;
    • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, ensuring reliability and efficiency;
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with significant experience working on existing systems;
  • Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming concepts;
  • Familiarity with Hibernate and Spring MVC;
  • Experience with Python;
  • Hands-on experience with API development and web services;
  • Solid understanding of AWS cloud development and microservices architecture;
  • Relational databases, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle;
  • ElasticSearch, indexing strategies, and query optimization;
  • Version control systems like Git and build tools like Maven;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and passion for improving software systems;
  • Upper-Intermediate English level.
