Job Title: Data Engineering Professional

This is a fully remote, contract-based position offering flexibility and autonomy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing innovative solutions for various integrations and data preprocessing to support business objectives.
  • Ensuring high-quality and reliability of data assets developed within the domain by implementing best practices.
  • Integrating data from diverse sources into the enterprise data foundation utilizing expertise in data warehousing concepts.
  • Collaborating with stakeholder teams to resolve issues and facilitate seamless communication.
  • Working on user stories assigned for data ingestion into bronze and silver tables, applying knowledge of SQL and data transformations.
  • Coordinating with Data Governance, Steward, and Modelling teams to address questions or concerns.
  • Tracking backlog tech debt items in the Product Owner (PO) team and collaborating with the Scrum Master to create stories for each iteration.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Azure tool Stack (Databricks , ADF, Synapse Analytics).
  • Strong expertise in writing complex SQL and transformations.
  • Ability to write, review, and examine code written in Python and PySpark.
  • Proficient in DevOps CI/CD (High level understanding).
  • Expertise in RDBMS.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Data warehousing concepts.
  • SQL & SQL Tuning within Data Lake (Delta Format).
  • Cost Optimizations.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Azure Solution Architecture Experience (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
  • Tableau & PowerBI.
