Translation Expert Wanted
- We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a translation expert. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese and English or Chinese, with the ability to translate complex documents with precision and accuracy.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for translating products and business-related documents from English to Portuguese (Brazil) or from Chinese to Portuguese (Brazil).
- Maintaining a Portuguese (Brazil) termbase of products is also an essential part of this role.
- Product localization is crucial to improving user experience, and you will play a key role in ensuring that products meet the needs of customers in Brazil.
- In addition to translation, localization, and product maintenance, you will also be responsible for other relevant work as assigned.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or above in linguistics, translation, or a related field.
- Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and another language (English or Chinese).
- Experience in translation, preferably with linguistic certificates.
- Familiarity with CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ, and Smartling is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in finance, securities, futures, and digital currency is preferred.
- A strong sense of responsibility, quick response time, and excellent communication and coordination skills are essential for success in this role.
