Senior Legal Advisor Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to provide expert legal support for our operations in Brazil and Latin America. This key strategic role will focus on contract management, compliance, and project coordination.

The role is a long-term secondment project with a flexible duration, allowing for remote work. You will collaborate closely with a leading global company specializing in building automation, HVAC, security, access control, and energy efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary legal contact for daily operational matters in Brazil;
  • Review, adapt, and manage contracts, letters, and various documents;
  • Support local and regional projects focusing on compliance and risk mitigation;
  • Work closely with the regional business team;
  • Update and maintain contract templates and terms and conditions in accordance with local laws;
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams on legal and contractual updates;
  • Translate legal documents when necessary;
  • Assess and respond to contractual disputes;
  • Collaborate with other legal departments.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Holding an active OAB license;
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate law;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory) and advanced Spanish proficiency;
  • Previous experience in business law environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in multinational companies or regional roles;
  • Knowledge of international contract law and compliance regulations.
