About This Role">

Our company is seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to create and maintain high-quality documentation for software and APIs. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and spoken English, proven experience in technical writing, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

This role involves developing detailed API endpoint documentation using the OpenAPI specification, including precise request/response examples. You will collaborate with clients to understand their products, use cases, and user needs, and proactively identify and implement improvements to content, processes, and tools.

  • Main Responsibilities:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Essential Skills:
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • Proven experience in technical writing for software and APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and explain complex technical concepts.
  • Proficiency with Markdown.
  • Experience with Git for version control (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
  • A solid understanding of how APIs work.

If you have any of the following skills or experience, it would be a big plus:

  • Familiarity with the OpenAPI/Swagger specification.
  • Experience working in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
