Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Job DescriptionAs a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met by our suppliers. This involves developing and implementing quality control processes to ensure that all products meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Supplier Management: Develop and manage supplier notifications via SAP or other systems for production series items and new projects.
- Quality Control: Create and implement inspection models for parts (incoming inspection) to ensure the quality of purchased parts supplied to the process.
- Audit and Compliance: Monitor the quarantine area for rejected or under-analysis parts through audits to compare systemic vs. physical stock.
- Communication: Participate in global supplier meetings to align on topics related to failure mode analysis, critical suppliers, escalation processes, and standardization of work.
- Support Services: Provide support to receiving inspectors by assisting with inspection methods, material certification analysis, evaluation of rejected items, and organizing containment for nonconforming parts.
- Investigation: Send suspected defective components to the Metrology and/or Macrography Laboratory for analysis.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier scoring by compiling monthly data on supplier complaints, overdue notifications, and evaluating PPM for each supplier.
- Evaluation: Organize evaluations of PPAP samples for dimensional measurements in the metrology or macrography laboratory or other tests.
- Development Support: Support the purchasing department in the development of new projects and suppliers.
For this role, we are looking for individuals with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance management and a deep understanding of quality control processes.
Requirements and QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess a degree in a relevant field such as engineering, science, or business, and at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
