Confederation Lounge Server

At Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, we are seeking a skilled and charismatic Confederation Lounge Server to join our team. As a Server with our esteemed hotel, you will be an ambassador for exceptional service and cuisine, making our guests feel unique and valued.

• Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests, assisting them with menu items and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Sell and up-sell menu and beverage items in a positive and professional manner, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods, and adhere to the hotel's food handling and safety policies.
• Report any irregularities or comments from guests to supervisors and leadership.

• 1 year a-la-carte serving experience required in the last 5 years.
• Pro Serve certification required.
• Previous point of sale system experience an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Hourly Rate Range: $16.00 - $17.00 CAD Gross per hour.
