Procurement Professional Job Description

This is a challenging role that requires a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Professional to lead the procurement process from fleet requisition to product and service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing global procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement process, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures in global supply chain operations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers and monitor supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Logistics Teams and internal stakeholders to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize service/product quality, total cost, and lead-time.
  • Negotiate prices, delivery times, and payment terms with vendors.
  • Source and launch RFQs, and support negotiations and final supplier selection.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, preferably in Offshore, Oil Service, or Marine industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in negotiating with vendors.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Sourcing Teams and Logistics Teams and understanding the procurement interface.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex procurement data and derive actionable insights.
