Mobile Phlebotomist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. This role is responsible for collecting blood donations from volunteer donors in a safe and professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional donor experiences.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with medical assistant certification or phlebotomy certification being strongly preferred. Additionally, 6 months of experience in a healthcare environment and proficiency in basic computer skills are desired.

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Blood Center's mission of saving lives. You will work closely with our Donor Collections Manager and other staff members to ensure seamless operations and provide outstanding customer service to donors.

Responsibilities
  • Collect blood donations from volunteer donors in a safe and professional manner
  • Utilize computer systems to process donors through their donor process
  • Take personal responsibility for donor safety and comply with all regulatory standards
  • Set up supplies and equipment, complete daily quality control, and ensure availability of necessary materials before collection events
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical assistant certification or phlebotomy certification (strongly preferred)
  • 6 months of experience in a healthcare environment (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
