Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Alexander County, NC. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical problems, performing routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by coursework in mechanical trade skills and journeyman-level mechanic experience. You must also possess a valid North Carolina driver's license and be able to obtain and hold a NC Department of Motor Vehicles license for performing NC State Vehicle Inspections.

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical problems on vehicles and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including tune-ups, oil changes, and brake repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Operate specialized equipment such as jacks, refrigerant recovery machines, and tire changers
• Conduct inventory and replenish materials and supplies
• Test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning

• High school diploma or equivalent
