Established backend engineers, driven by innovation and passion for technology, are sought to lead the development of a cutting-edge digital banking platform.

This is a leadership role that demands expertise in designing and implementing scalable, multi-tenant APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless banking experiences and ensure timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and optimize API architecture for a digital banking system, incorporating secure account creation, transfers, and real-time dashboards.
  • Implement strong monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Datadog or Grafana to enhance backend systems.
  • Lead discussions on API testing (unit, integration, e2e) and deployments, driving backend excellence.
  • Mentor and coach a growing engineering team, fostering best practices in backend systems and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Challenge existing approaches and propose better architectural and technical solutions, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Work closely with frontend engineers (React/Next.js, React Native) to deliver integrated banking experiences.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong background in NestJS.
  • Deep expertise in multi-tenant API systems and scalable backend architectures.
  • Experience in financial services or digital banking, with hands-on experience in Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.
  • Knowledge of observability tools and strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
