We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Specialist to join our team at TechnipFMC. As an HSE Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and the communities we operate in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site visits to project bases, suppliers, and vessels to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop and implement HSE training programs, including Hazard Analysis (HAZID) sessions, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and analyze HSE statistics to inform business decisions and improve performance.
- Develop and monitor HSE action plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with field inspectors to ensure effective HSE management.
- Support the implementation of IBAMA adequacy of vessels and PEAT and PCP programs.
- Manage and control project waste and effluent documentation.
Requirements:
- Technical education in Work Safety or a related field.
- Registration in the MTE or Class Council (CREA).
- Advanced English language skills.
- Experience in participating in projects or assets related to the Oil and Gas industry, onshore and/or offshore.
- Direct contact with oil operators.
- Knowledge of HSE management systems, including implementation and maintenance.
- Ability to draft and review HSE documents and procedures.
- Experience in HSE audits, conducting HAZIDs and Risk Analysis, accident investigation, operational controls, and legal compliance.
- Availability for travel and visits to vessels.
