Job Title: Contracts Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Specialist to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for providing commercial and contractual expertise to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial and contractual advice to department managers and project management teams
  • Develop and maintain effective compliance to BMS in accordance with Company procedures and systems
  • Arrange project bonds, guarantees, and insurances as required
  • Liaise with project managers and engineers to negotiate and execute Variation Orders with contractors
  • Highlight major commercial or contractual risks or issues to relevant managers and work towards optimum solutions
  • Assist in project close-out activities, ensuring signature of acceptance, performance feedback, and satisfactory monitoring of bonds/warranty
  • Review and update the Procurement Register on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate and deliver department initiatives as required
  • Responsible for tendering, negotiation, and administration of allocated Frame Agreements
  • Analyse commodity spend information, including market analysis, and develop sourcing strategies
  • Prepare and expedite signature of internal approval documents
  • Ensure adherence of contractors to contract/project administration procedures
  • Attend weekly/monthly meetings as required
  • Claims management
  • Assist project managers in contractual matters during project duration
  • Assist contract holders with supplier management activities, including performance reviews
  • Attend vessel dry dockings as required to manage key supplier variations

Requirements:

  • Maintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behavior
  • Maintain behavior in compliance with HSES requirements
  • Report any unsafe or environmentally unsound acts and conditions to immediate supervisor

  • Reinforce and strengthen the HSES culture at every opportunity
  • Promote correct HSES behaviors through personal example
  • Take action upon any health, safety, security, and environmental matter brought to notice and report to Manager
