About the Role

The Junior Tax Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation of tax reports to be filed with local regulators in a timely and accurate manner. This position will also involve collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with tax legislation and regulatory requirements.

This role will cover various areas of tax specialty, including Tax Provision, Tax Collections, Tax Reporting, Tax Compliance, and Tax Controversy. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing support in tax audits demanded by local tax authorities and regulators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, revise, and deliver timely and accurate tax obligations;
  • Interact with stakeholders to ensure proper application of tax legislation;
  • Provide support in tax audits and controversy functions;
  • Navigate and understand tax-related systems and their connection with legacy systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting;
  • At least three years of experience in the tax area;
  • Previous experience with tax-related provision and payment systems;
  • Good analytical skills, including critical thinking and problem-solving.
Preferred Skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken;
  • Certifications in tax and accounting areas;
  • Good interpersonal skills.
