Mechanic Specialist
Responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on light vehicles, snowmobiles, and equipment.
Must be able to diagnose problems using diagnostic procedures and test equipment.
Work involves inspecting, servicing, and repairing various types of vehicles and equipment according to schedule.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A minimum of two years' experience in vehicle maintenance and repair is required for Technician Level I.
Technician Level II requires a minimum of four years' experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, or three years' experience with maintenance and repair plus one season working as a light vehicle technician in Antarctica.
Technician Level III requires a minimum of seven years' experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
