Medical Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable individual to join our Medical Communications team as a Medical Information Specialist. This role is responsible for providing accurate and timely medical information to healthcare professionals, patients, and clients.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential in this role, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting. Additionally, the ability to research and interpret complex medical information, as well as provide clear and concise responses to inquiries, is critical to success in this role.
Responsibilities:- Provide accurate and timely medical information to healthcare professionals, patients, and clients via various channels (phone, email, internet, mail).
- Analyze and research inquiries to formulate accurate and concise responses using client-approved resources.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of project and corporate policies and procedures, including client products, SOPs, protocols, GCPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with internal and external client contacts to resolve complex inquiries and provide additional support as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (at least 6 months).
- Native Portuguese speaker.
- Strong English skills in all four areas: reading, writing, comprehension, and speaking (for interacting with people from other countries) - mandatory.
- Solid computer and keyboarding skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to interpret client-provided medical and technical information.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in challenging circumstances.
