Job Description

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in finance? As a Finance Specialist, you will play a critical part in supporting the Credit Risk Management Group (RMC) as they develop and apply models and instruments for the assessment and management of credit risk in the Bank's lending operations.

You will work closely with senior analysts to support country vulnerability analysis, including country risk indicators, and their implications in the Bank's loan portfolio and capital adequacy metrics. You will also assist in the development of potential future scenarios based on current data and trends.

In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on delays in disbursements to help optimize the portfolio and reduce unnecessary capital consumption. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Finance, Economics or related quantitative background.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in financial modeling for Banks, capital adequacy, or a similar relevant field.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank's official languages (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is required.
