This role will provide expert support to ensure the smooth operation of our Calypso system, with a focus on functional and MO (middle office) activities. As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop comprehensive solutions that meet their needs.
The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, including expertise in front-to-back derivatives solutions and strong knowledge of financial products across various asset classes. They will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert-level support for functional and MO activities within the Calypso system.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop comprehensive solutions that meet their needs.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve system performance and user experience.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working in Capital Markets and Calypso, with a focus on functional and MO activities.
- Expertise in front-to-back derivatives solutions and strong knowledge of financial products across various asset classes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of delivering implementation/migration projects and developing Calypso integrations, reporting, and other technical aspects.
- Leadership skills, with ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner and ensure effective project delivery.
