Lead Material Management Specialist Role

• The successful candidate will support the preparation of S&OP review meetings, ensuring a meaningful review process. This includes governance, minutes of meeting, and action plan follow-up.
• They will drive continuous improvement of the S&OP process by standardizing order cases across functions and regions and implementing regular back-testing.
• Additionally, they will stabilize S&OP data integrity by challenging sales teams to perform regular updates, including execution dates, scope, products, amounts, and segmentation.
• The role requires ensuring load model consistency, along with load drivers, productivity factors, and direct connections with Standard Work.
• Support monthly S&OP reviews for service transactions, including load model establishment when not available, providing free capacity to Hydro Sales Managers, and supporting indirect service supplier panel visibility and transfer function automation in digitalized tools.
• They must also consider upcoming loads for GE factories during Make or Buy trade-off decisions.
• Lead time reviews are performed bi-annually with the Sourcing Team, analyzing historical data to support lead time change decisions based on real cycles compared to current Standard Lead Times.
• Driving lead time reviews with Global Commodity Leaders and Regional Leaders is another key responsibility.
• The role involves reviewing the impact of changes and supporting action plans as needed, while communicating changes to involved functions.
• Finally, they will participate in discussions to improve alignment between Engineering, Supply Chain, and Site Installation, reviewing BoM Templates and revision KPIs to find opportunities for improvement.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Strong experience in Material Planning, S&OP, BoM, and similar functions.
• Excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
• Experience with complex formulas on Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to analyze and present data to senior leadership.
• Previous experience working with international projects and standards is a plus.
