Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and strong experience in Material Planning, S&OP, BoM, and similar functions. Critical to the success of our operations, this role will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials according to production schedules. This position will plan and schedule material/production needs, impacting departmental operations and ensuring the execution of activities within established standard functional practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the preparation of S&OP review meetings, including operating rhythms, governance, minutes of meeting, and action plan follow-up.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the S&OP process by ensuring order cases are consistent across functions and regions, and driving regular back-testing.
  • Stabilize S&OP data integrity by challenging sales teams to perform regular updates (execution date, scope, product, amount, segmentation).
  • Ensure load model consistency, along with load drivers, productivity factors, and direct connections with Standard Work.
  • Support monthly S&OP reviews for service transactional, including load model establishment, free capacity availability to Hydro Sales Managers, indirect service supplier panel visibility, and transfer function automation in digitalized tools.
  • Support make-or-buy trade-offs by considering upcoming loads for GE factories.
  • Lead time review: Conduct bi-annual lead times reviews with the Sourcing Team.
  • Provide analysis of historical data to support the Sourcing team in making decisions regarding lead time changes.
  • Drive lead time reviews with Sourcing leaders (Global Commodity Leaders and Regional Leaders).
  • Review the impact of changes and support actions plans when needed.
  • Communicate changes appropriately to functions involved.
  • Support the review of BoM Templates and participate in discussions to improve alignment between Engineering, Supply Chain, and Site Installation.
  • Review BoM revision KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the management of Pre ECO/BoM Supply Chain Review Workflow.
