HRIS Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned HRIS Manager to lead the development and optimization of our Human Resources Information Systems. This role requires a blend of technical experience and human resources acumen to ensure our HR technology platforms are robust, reliable, and enhance employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess existing procedures and prioritize IT technologies required.
  2. Define system requirements and collaborate with internal IT and external vendors to evaluate and select HRIS software and systems.
  3. Vet providers and work with the procurement team to manage and negotiate projects.
  4. Provide constructive feedback and challenge automation processes.
  5. Safeguard HR data integrity and ensure high-quality standards.
  6. Develop and implement HR scorecards and analytics to support HR functions and present findings.
  7. Optimize HRIS processes for talent acquisition, retention, benefits, compensation, learning and development, attendance tracking, performance management, and employee satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent desired.
  2. Minimum 10 years HRIS experience.
  3. 10+ years of experience as an HRIS Manager or similar role.
  4. Solid understanding of Project Management & Change Management.
  5. Proven experience deploying and configuring HRIS systems.
  6. Ability to partner with vendors and stakeholders.
  7. Ability to think strategically and execute flawlessly.
  8. Understanding of HR processes and methodologies.
Skills:
  1. Strong project management skills to oversee HR technology implementations and upgrades.
  2. In-depth knowledge of HR processes and data, including payroll and performance management systems.
  3. Effective communication skills to liaise with IT and HR departments and provide user support.
