
Strategic Talent Coordinator

We are seeking a Talent Manager to manage a population of consultants across various offices and practices. The role will be responsible for scheduling and performance management, as well as engaging with consultants to understand their strengths, development objectives, and career goals.
The successful candidate will balance the needs of the business alongside the preferences, career goals, and development needs of consultants to deliver appropriate staffing and talent management outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Talent Management:
- Use the performance management process to engage consultants on development needs and areas for training
- Develop relationships with each consultant and become a trusted advisor
- Assist in directing consultants towards resources for career advice
- Escalate employee relations issues or questions around general Human Capital operations
- Monitor work-life-quality issues and escalate when needed
- Project Staffing:
- Understand project nuances and roles being filled
- Liaise with project team leaders to understand staffing needs
- Collect project details from Partners and Practice Group TMs
- Anticipate capacity issues and manage consultant expectations
- Communicate staffing outcomes to consultants in an empathetic manner
- Track mobility issues, holidays, trainings, background checks, and other ad-hoc tasks
- Consultant Development and Performance Management:
- Understand the performance management framework and competency model
- Coordinate training for consultants with the Learning and Development team
- Read all performance appraisals and follow up on issues/flags
- Coordinate annual Career Review meetings for own consultant populations
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in client services
- Management consulting and/or Human Resources experience preferred
This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week in the office.

Participate in project work within and adjacent to the broader Human Capital function.
