Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to take on the role of Murex FO Trading Specialist. With over 200 successful Murex projects delivered across various asset classes and sectors, we have established ourselves as a market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolving daily FO issues on functional, valuation, and pricing aspects.
  • Liaising with technical teams to resolve FO-related issues and enhancements.
  • Developing FO business requirements per given stream and project needs.
  • Managing Yield Curve validation and curve assignments.
  • Validating Products (IRD, CRD, EQD, FXD) management.
  • Assisting support groups in resolving P&L, Market Data, and booking issues.
  • Analyzing and proposing solutions for project deliverables.
  • Following new Market regulations/practices globally.
  • Performing testing and participating in formal release cycles.
  • Utilizing specialized knowledge on financial derivatives and Murex software for implementation and upgrade projects.
  • Providing high-quality support for using the Murex platform in pricing and structuring complex financial products.
  • Developing test cases and documenting defective use cases for fixes by developers.
Essential Skills
  • Strong analytical, pricing, and Front Office skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally.
  • Experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues.
  • 2+ years of experience on Murex with FO functionalities/module.
  • 1+ years of experience in financial markets/IT business analysis.
Nice To Have Skills
  • BS or higher degree in Finance, Mathematics or equivalent.
  • Implementations and upgrades of Murex.
  • Test management.
  • Trade life cycle management.
  • Market Data management.
  • Knowledge in SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands is a plus.
