Senior Devops Engineer

As a Senior Devops Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and improving our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our backend development team to design and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems.

Our ideal candidate will have strong experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, RDS, and supporting/operating systems deployed on Kubernetes or AWS ECS. You will be responsible for provisioning, monitoring, maintaining, scaling, and securing cloud infrastructure and highly-available backend services.

  • Provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with different deployment strategies.
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure alignment with Cloud Native architecture designs and practices.
  • Automation of infrastructure provisioning and operation.
  • Documenting infrastructure and services for easy maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Mentorship of less experienced developers in the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code in the Cloud (preferable Terraform but not required).
  • Experience with scripting including BASH and Python.
  • Good understanding of software development processes.
  • Good understanding of how the internet and web applications work.
  • Experience configuring, deploying, and operating observability systems (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
  • Experience with native AWS security services like Guard Duty, Security Hub, Inspector, WAF.
  • Understanding of core DevSecOps principles on AWS Cloud.
