About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as a Portfolio Specialist in our Brazil Office.

The ideal candidate will work under the overall supervision of the Representative in Brazil and be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficient implementation of our portfolio in Brazil, including leading the operationalization of projects, providing guidance to project management units, and ensuring the development of annual work plans and budgets.

The successful candidate will have an advanced university degree in Environmental and/or Social Sciences, at least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing projects for global environmental funds, and working knowledge of English and Portuguese.

The position requires strong analytical and conceptual skills, ability to write bankable project documents, and experience in leading or facilitating inter-institutional processes.
