Senior Database Infrastructure Specialist

Database Reliability Engineering is a critical role that requires coordination of team activities, tracking and reporting of achievements, defining and documenting processes, and troubleshooting escalated issues.
This hands-on position involves database monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery, installation, maintenance, and disaster recovery. The ideal candidate must be an effective communicator with solid relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate team activities to ensure efficient workflow
- Track and report achievements to stakeholders
- Define and document processes to maintain database reliability
- Troubleshoot escalated issues in a timely manner
- Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery, installation, maintenance, and disaster recovery
- 5+ years of experience in database engineering or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- High level of technical expertise in database systems
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization
