Building Information Modeller Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Building Information Modeller (BIM) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming design information into high-quality MEP systems.

This role plays a crucial part in delivering outstanding results on landmark projects in the UAE. As a Building Information Modeller, you will work closely with internal and external teams to create and maintain accurate and up-to-date BIM models.

  • Review and analyse tender documents and IFC information, ensuring compliance with ISO19650 standards
  • Develop and manage Revit-based BIM models, including general arrangements plans, sections, diagrams, and schedules
  • Perform clash detection and support coordination efforts to avoid conflicts
  • Maintain clean and healthy BIM models, adhering to industry best practices
  • Update and revise models/documents based on requests for information, design changes, and site instructions
  • Identify inconsistencies in contract documents and highlight them appropriately
  • Assist with as-built documentation and handover preparation, ensuring seamless project delivery
  • Collaborate effectively in shared environments, supporting both internal and external teams
  • Follow project standards, templates, protocols, and document control procedures
  • Provide accurate technical responses to site queries and requests
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A technical diploma in architecture, civil or mechanical engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience working with BIM on construction projects
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with CDE platforms and coordination tools, such as Revizto and Navisworks
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Understanding of BIM principles and workflows
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
