The role of the Search and Rescue Team Lead is to ensure the high-quality delivery of search and rescue services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership for the search and rescue team by exemplifying outstanding leadership skills, adhering to established principles
- Manage resources strategically, plan effectively and deliver results in line with expectations
- Assign tasks to team members, provide clear communication, offer support and manage leave arrangements
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering against customer expectations
- Plan and coordinate activities based on load and capacity requirements
- Support, develop and train the search and rescue team to meet market needs
- Maintain necessary quality, health and safety standards
- Establish strategies and set SMART goals/KPIs with management and the team
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education in a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in the field or similar activities
- Fluent English, excellent written and oral communication
- Leadership experience, cultural knowledge and understanding
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships
- Self-driven, able to handle a heavy workload, prioritize tasks and meet customer needs
- Positive attitude, collaborative, open to new ideas and solution-focused
