Our organization is seeking an experienced Trade Finance Professional to support country-specific teams within a cluster of countries. This role will provide trade finance advisory services, including bank guarantees, parent company guarantees, sureties, and documentary letters of credit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement trade finance instruments portfolio management strategies for assigned countries.
  • Collaborate with local teams to negotiate and finalize export sales contracts, ensuring compliance with local regulations and customary practices.
  • Drive standardization of trade finance instruments wordings across the organization, promoting international standards such as URDG and UCP.
  • Oversee trade finance instrument portfolios, processing requests and incoming messages in adherence to local regulations.
  • Release bank guarantee requests and assign advised export LCs to relevant recipients based on allocation guidelines or other sources of information.
  • Maintain bank relationships through monitoring existing or requesting new stand-alone credit lines.
  • Reconcile and process incoming bank fee invoices, ensuring timely payment execution.
  • Prepare quarterly management reports and statistics on bank performance and guarantee/LC portfolios.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in Trade Finance administration, advisory, consultancy, guarantees, and letters of credit.
  • Fluent English (oral and written) and local language proficiency.
  • University degree in Finance, Banking, Treasury Management, or other relevant fields.
  • Certification in trade finance instruments (e.g., CSDG, CITF, CTFP) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with maturity in daily interactions internally and externally.
  • Proactive business attitude, knowledge of local rules and regulations, and regional market environment.
