Marketing Insights Specialist

The Marketing Insights Specialist will leverage a strong technical background, digital marketing expertise, and experience building client reporting solutions to inform innovative communications strategies. This role partners closely with multidisciplinary teams to define solutions at the intersection of technology, media, and culture.

The position requires resourcefulness, curiosity, passion, and fearlessness. Key responsibilities include analyzing large datasets, creating client outputs, developing detailed analysis of performance drivers, and providing critical QA/QC function across all data-driven endeavors.

  • Analyze large datasets to tease out insights and identify performance drivers for marketing campaigns.
  • Create client outputs including monthly dashboards, quarterly deep-dive reports, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Develop detailed analysis of performance drivers for campaigns in market.
  • Develop data-driven hypothesis on website asset performance for review by strategy team and eventual presentation to clients.
  • Drive efficiencies and standardization by automating data processing workflows.
  • Provides critical QA/QC function across all data-driven endeavors to ensure maximum impact and minimum chance for erroneous conclusions.

Required skills include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Research, Marketing, Business, Math/Statistics, Finance, Social Science or related degree, 3-4 years of experience working as a Marketing Analyst or Data Analyst, high proficiency in building reporting dashboards (Tableau, Google Data Studio, MS Power BI, Looker), rolling up data and analyzing datasets to find customer insights, designing and/or implementing website tracking elements (GA, Adobe).
