Financial Performance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Performance Specialist to join our team.

  • Analyze and oversee financial performance for assigned projects, focusing on key metrics such as budget consumption, invoicing, and cash flow.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, collaborating with project managers on resourcing and discrepancies.
  • Manage vendor contracts, ensuring operational compliance, and escalating financial concerns.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Interpreting and investigating financial results for assigned projects.
  • Preparing, reconciling, analyzing, and reporting project KPIs (LOE – level of effort, T&E, 3rd party Budget consumption, milestones acceptance, invoicing and cash receipts status).
  • Reviewing actual and planned resources, flagging discrepancies to project managers.
  • Handling project closeout reconciliations and escalating issues as needed.
  • Analysing financial and business data for assigned projects and contracts.
  • Coordinating with project managers on change orders, project status, resourcing, and budgets.
  • Assisting in developing regular financial status reports for projects.
  • Recording monthly revenue for contracts and communicating estimates to clients.
  • Monitoring subcontractor and vendor contracts, acting as the contact point for external/internal resources.
  • Attending project meetings to support project managers and ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Tracking overall project health, including revenues, gross profit, receivables, and project closeouts.
  • Ensuring that operational procedures are being followed by project teams.
  • Identifying and working with team leads to resolve and/or escalate violations as needed.
  • Validating reports obtained from projects and ensuring that the reports are provided on time.
  • Working with project team leads and program directors on operational support needs, setting up and leading project meetings.
  • Assisting with Resource plan baselines.
  • Reviewing and managing exceptions and escalating to stakeholders as needed.
  • Processing and distributing reports, defining tool requirements.
  • Analyzing and monitoring dashboard reports on every project created monthly.
  • Identifying planned projects monthly.
  • Identifying projects with Level of Effort (LOE) overage and escalating these to senior management.
  • Scheduling invoices and assisting in their preparation.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
