Senior Financial Project Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Project Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing financial performance across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify areas of improvement
- Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance
- Manage vendor contracts and ensure operational compliance
- Analyze and optimize processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Track project health and assist with forecasting and budgeting
- Schedule invoices and process payments
- Work with management to optimize processes and improve overall financial performance
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in financial analysis
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Able to work well with others and use discretion when dealing with confidential matters
- Prior experience in project analysis and ASC 606 revenue recognition is strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Great Plains system
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field
