Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Manager

We are seeking a skilled Regulatory Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our change management function, you will be responsible for assessing internal and external changes that could impact our regulatory reporting obligations.

You will evaluate potential impacts on existing reports due to M&A, new products, GEO expansion, and regulatory changes. You will work closely with business teams, data engineering, and operations groups to ensure changes are implemented to meet regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and maintain high-level control, governance, and automation throughout the development process.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Engage with M&A and product leaders to understand the regulatory reporting impacts and define readiness criteria.
  2. Participate in meetings with cross-functional teams including both internal resources and external advisers.
  3. Review issues identified during Due Diligence to ensure they are remediated in accordance with PayPal regulatory requirements.
  4. Perform regulatory reporting gaps and impact assessments.
  5. Identify and review differences arising from the interpretation of regulatory reporting requirements.
  6. Partner with compliance teams to ensure interpretations agree with regulator's expectations.
  7. Document definitions and assumptions of each reporting attribute.
  8. Develop regulatory reporting data requirements and mapping rules.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Accounting or Business degree preferred.
  • Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and explain technical concepts.
  • Strong presentation and documentation skills - proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Working experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent meeting management and facilitation skills.
