Freelance Peer Reviewer - Gastroenterology and Hepatology

  • We are seeking experts in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology to perform peer reviews for journals and publishers.

You should be able to disclose your full name and affiliations with the publishers. Confidentiality and objectivity are expected throughout the process.

Requirements
  • A doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in the subject area.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in your field, demonstrating your expertise and research capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, allowing you to assess manuscripts thoroughly.
  • Strong written communication skills, enabling you to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, ensuring timely completion of peer reviews.
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate manuscript novelty and originality.
  • Analyze study design and methodology, ensuring they are appropriate and comprehensive.
  • Check literature review for relevance and up-to-dateness.
  • Assess results and conclusions, ensuring they are supported by data and significant to the field.
  • Provide constructive feedback, suggesting improvements or highlighting flaws.
