Geriatric Medicine Peer Reviewer Opportunity

We're currently seeking experts to participate in peer review for journals and publishers.

This role involves assessing the originality and relevance of research manuscripts, evaluating study design and methodology, and providing constructive feedback to authors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess Novelty: Evaluate whether the manuscript adds new knowledge or insights to the field of geriatric medicine.
  • Evaluate Study Design and Methodology: Assess whether the study design and methods are appropriate, comprehensive, and clearly described.
  • Literature Review: Check whether the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant research in the field.
  • Analyse Results and Conclusions: Evaluate whether the results are presented clearly and appropriately, and whether the conclusions are supported by the data.
  • Providing Constructive Feedback: Provide suggestions for improvement or highlight any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in Geriatric Medicine or a related field.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in Geriatric Medicine or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
