We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Fraud Prevention team in Brazil.

The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, preventing, and removing fraudulent actors from our platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Data Science Expertise: Build production systems to identify and remove fraudsters from our platform;
  • Machine Learning Ownership: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from ideation and prototyping to production deployment and monitoring;
  • Anti-Fraud Solutions: Help prototype, implement, and productionize new anti-fraud solutions at scale;
  • Technical Excellence: Ensure successful deliveries and promote long-term technical health of our journeys;
  • Tech Best Practices: Apply technology best practices;
  • Incident Resolution: Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in the production environment;
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline;
  • Data Science Experience: Experience as a data scientist delivering consistent results in a business setting;
  • ML Algorithms: Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and hands-on experience implementing them;
  • Lifelong Learning: Lifelong learner passionate about emerging technologies, with proficiency in Python and SQL;
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills explaining technical concepts to different audiences;
  • Output-Driven: Output-driven with experience working in scenarios with high uncertainty;
  • Natural Team Player: Naturally curious, with a knack for teamwork;
  • Fraud Detection: Proficient experience with fraud and anomaly detection models;
