About the RoleThis exciting opportunity will see you working closely with Field Sales Representatives and customers to achieve sales goals and foster positive relationships. Your primary focus will be on providing high-quality support materials, leads, and end-to-end solutions to our small customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation: Develop comprehensive lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, leveraging internal ZIM information, web data, external databases, quote inquiries, trade shows, and business directories.
- Validate sales leads and work with sales representatives to turn them into successful sales.
- Account Coordination: Prepare material for customer meetings, including past performance and forecast, needs solutions, issues, opportunities, financials, and more.
- Create and update agreements, discuss and prepare quotations for customers, and address client follow-up processes and problems.
- Solve ad-hoc problems, cascade relevant issues to CS, and ensure resolution.
- Inform customers about changes in rates, schedule, shipping methods, and other topics.
- Performance Measurement: Create meeting reports in CRM, monitor customer performance, track and report requirements, and screen lost or new customers.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Economics, Business Management, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales or customer service positions.
- Working experience in the local FFW/shipping industry (advantageous).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and CRM.
- Advanced English language skills.
Zim offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes benefits such as medical insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
