Senior QA Engineer Position

This position is available for a Senior QA Engineer who will be responsible for designing and executing thorough manual test cases and test scripts based on system specifications and requirements.

  • The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience with manual testing, as well as 1-2 years of experience with Selenium and Python.
  • They will also need to be proficient with tools like Jira, xRay, GitHub, or GitLab, and have a good understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.

In addition to the required skills and qualifications, the successful candidate will be able to think outside the box to develop multiple scenarios and identify non-traditional test cases, incorporating negative testing and edge cases.

They will also be able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and have excellent analytical, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and execute thorough manual test cases and test scripts based on system specifications and requirements.
  2. Develop multiple test scenarios, including non-traditional test cases, negative testing, edge cases, and performance considerations, to ensure robust product validation.
  3. Collaborate closely with the development team to understand requirements, plan testing processes, and identify issues for correction.
  4. Create detailed logs to document testing phases and identify defects.
  5. Report bugs and errors to development teams, primarily using Jira.
  6. Troubleshoot issues and help identify root causes of defects.
  7. Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, test reports, and test documentation, with experience in tools like Xray.
  8. Participate actively in Agile-Scrum development processes, providing valuable feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
  9. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
