Animation Designer

We are seeking a skilled Animation Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of character animation and technical skills to create engaging gameplay experiences.

The role involves designing and implementing animation systems, working closely with the animation, design, and engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient workflows.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating complex movement systems, designing and implementing animation state machines and behaviors, and troubleshooting in-game animation implementation issues.

The position requires a strong animation sense, expertise in animation pipelines, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement animation behavior tools, techniques, and philosophies
  • Collaborate with the animation, design, and engineering teams to analyze and solve animation-related challenges
  • Maintain the style and quality bar for animations in the game
  • Look for opportunities to improve the animation pipeline and workflow
Requirements:
  • A strong animation sense with a clear understanding of realistic and stylized character motion
  • Expertise in animation pipelines and source content creation tools
  • Exceptional problem-solving ability and strong written communication skills
  • Familiarity with gameplay animation tools and concepts
