Control Systems Engineer

This position is responsible for the execution of control engineering in projects, ensuring that functional requirements are met and delivered on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and control systems.

  • Degree: Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • Postgraduate degree: Petroleum Engineering, Subsea Production Systems, Control and Automation
Job Responsibilities:
  • Review and approval of equipment specifications for electrical, optical, hydraulic control systems, as well as subsea distribution systems.
  • Review and approval of assembly and test documentation for the aforementioned equipment.
  • Review and approval of qualification documentation for the aforementioned equipment.
  • Participation in Design Review meetings, ensuring that client requirements and quality/good practices are met.
  • Approval of electrical/optical/hydraulic schematics for systems and subsystems.
  • Management of project activities as well as creation of sub-activities.
Working Environment:

The successful candidate will be part of a team working on subsea production systems, preferably control systems. They should have knowledge of international standards related to subsea control systems (API7F, API6A, etc.) and risk assessment capabilities.
