Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing clinical trials from start-up to close-out, ensuring the quality and scientific integrity of our research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study Management: Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, manage, and oversee the implementation of clinical studies in accordance with global program strategies.
  • Country Strategy: Develop and execute country-level study plans, ensuring timely delivery and budget implementation of clinical trial results.
  • Communication: Communicate study status, timelines, and results to key stakeholders, including updates to relevant systems for transparency.
  • Vendor Management: Manage external vendors, such as CROs, central labs, and imaging vendors, to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
  • Risk Mitigation: Continuously review and mitigate country-level risks to ensure study delivery meets expectations.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree OR Master's degree & 2 years of Clinical Trials experience OR Bachelor's degree & 4 years of Clinical Trials experience OR Associate's degree & 8 years of Clinical Trials experience OR High school diploma / GED & 10 years of Clinical Trials experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational Background in Life Science
  • Work experience in life sciences or medical related field, including biopharmaceutical clinical research experience acquired working on clinical trials in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO company
  • Minimum 2 years leading local/regional or global teams experience
  • Minimum 2 years Clinical Trial Project Management experience
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and business English
  • Experience in management and oversight of external vendors
