We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Manager to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a Credit Manager, you will play a critical role in protecting the hotel's assets by controlling risk while providing exceptional guest service and leadership to the Accounts Receivable team.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Risk Management: Review all incoming groups to establish credit worthiness and financial stability, ensuring the hotel's assets are protected.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Ensure prompt and accurate billing of all accounts receivable for groups, travel agents, and managers, and review and confirm accurate commission payments.
- Leadership and Supervision: Direct supervision, training, and coaching of the Accounts Receivable team, and facilitate monthly credit meetings.
- Delinquent Accounts: Pursue and collect delinquent accounts and document accordingly.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare Receivable Reports to review on a weekly basis and communicate any concerns to the Director of Finance.
- Education: High School diploma (or equivalent) and/or vocational training, with an Accounting degree being an asset.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years accounting experience, including supervisory/managerial level experience, with previous Front Office system and/or hotel experience being a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, demonstrated numerical aptitude, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
