Job Title: Infrastructure Operations Specialist

 

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Handling Major Incidents: Utilize the Critical Issue Response System (CIRS) to manage and resolve major incidents, ensuring frequent updates to stakeholders until resolution.
  • Deep-Dive Troubleshooting: Perform thorough application troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • CIRS-Related Tasks: Manage deployments, feature toggles, and data fixes related to CIRS requests.
  • Incident Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve major production incidents.
  • Monitoring Capabilities: Enhance monitoring capabilities using tools like Dynatrace, Kibana, and Splunk.
  • Monitoring Scripts and Alerts: Develop and improve monitoring scripts and alerts based on incident learnings.
  • Customer Escalations: Handle customer escalations and coordinate with Support & Engineering teams.
  • Support Activities: Participate in planned activities and respond to ad-hoc requests from CES teams.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • DevOps and Production Support Experience: Possess deep experience in DevOps and Production Support.
  • Automation and CI/CD Practices: Have experience in automation and CI/CD practices.
  • Cloud Platforms Familiarity: Be familiar with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure preferred).
  • Monitoring Tools: Have hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Kibana, and Splunk.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and ability to deep dive into application issues.
  • Communication and Coordination Skills: Possess excellent communication and coordination skills across teams.
