About this role:


This position involves educating students in the Portuguese language, with a focus on ensuring they reach their academic potential.

The ideal candidate will be able to implement our curriculum and philosophy, discussing any disciplinary or student performance issues as needed with senior staff members.

  • Implementing our point system to create an environment conducive to learning in the classroom.
  • Providing support by invigilating exams when required in a controlled and managed exam environment.
  • Offering assistance to academically low-performing students to help them improve and become motivated.
  • Preparing for external exams by revising past papers as outlined in our structured revision schedule (when applicable to specific grades).
  • Aiding in various duties including testing children, substituting for absent teachers, organizing children for meals and transport, controlling traffic, and other administrative tasks assigned by management.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in MS Office components, and be able to work collaboratively within a team.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Discussing disciplinary and student performance issues with senior staff members.
  • Implementing our point system.
  • Invigilation of exams.
  • Support for academically low-performing students.
  • Preparation for external exams.
  • Performing other related tasks or projects assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Native Portuguese speaker.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office components.
