Product Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the Product Owner position. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the development team is consistently fed with high-quality stories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy and Planning (15%)
    • Work with the Product Manager, and deliver the highest priority features on the product roadmap that are aligned with the product vision and organizational priorities.
    • Assist in the development of sprint and deployment plans aligned to our product's go-to-market strategy, defining feature set releases that deliver value to customers.
  • Delivery and Execution (60%)
    • Document requirements and acceptance criteria for features, epics, and stories.
    • Own the backlog, maintain consistent prioritization of work, and facilitate backlog refinement with on-site development teams.
    • Attend and actively participate in ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review/demo, and retrospective ceremonies with design and development teams.
  • Communication, Discovery, and Research (25%)
    • Collaborate with Design Research to lead ongoing user interviews, usability tests, A/B tests, etc., and share key findings with teams.
    • Report up and out on initiative health and risks, triaging issues when needed, and developing a regular cadence of communications.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst or Scrum Product Owner.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of detailed information.
    • Proven experience with Agile Methodologies.
    • The ability to communicate effectively, and respectfully in English with other team members, project management, and executive-level clients.
    • Ability to complete complex tasks on short deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in various requirement analysis, modelling, and documentation techniques.
