Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Clinical Manager to lead our Agile Research Delivery Team, providing strategic leadership and overseeing the delivery of world-class health research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational development and senior leadership of the team, aligning with RRDN priorities.
  • Oversee local feasibility assessments and reviews for studies, identifying potential sites/investigators and required resources.
  • Work with stakeholders and senior leaders to ensure effective deployment and management of staff across organisations.
  • Develop and implement prioritisation principles/triage system with a resource exit strategy for varying levels of research activity.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership and line management experience in health or care settings, as well as knowledge and experience of the clinical trial and health and care research lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate qualification (MSc or equivalent) in a science or health-related discipline or relevant experience in research trials.
  • NMC Registered Nurse, Midwife or HCPC Registered Allied Health Professional.
  • Exceptional leadership and line management experience in health or care settings.
  • Knowledge and experience of the clinical trial and health and care research lifecycle, including setting up clinical studies.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, requiring flexible working, home or remote working. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all line management duties for direct reports and ensuring staff development and performance management.
