Job Description

Louis Dreyfus Company is a leading global merchant and processor of agricultural goods with more than 22,000 employees worldwide.

The Finance Processes Systems and Organization team supports the Group CFO in leading finance transformation, digitalizing processes and implementing best practices and tools across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

The specialist will be responsible for one or more end-to-end processes in the commercial flows scope, including:

  • Purchase and Sales of commercial goods
  • Inventory management
  • Transportation flows

Key duties include:

  • Ensure adherence to group practices and processes for commercial activities
  • Support countries in execution while ensuring tool, organizational and process efficiency
Day-to-Day Activities

Activities may include:

  • Live countries support and small enhancements: enhance user experience, drive continuous improvement, maintain the core model, supervise changes, and keep documentation up to date
  • Small projects, called "Ad-Hoc": launch and drive initiatives to improve business operations
  • BOLD implementations in new countries: act as a referent for CORE processes and data, balancing local needs with group requirements
  • Innovation: support initiatives integrated with BOLD related to analytics, automation, and moving towards paperless processes

The specialist will work on BOLD implementations in new countries, notably the Brazil rollout (BORA Project), overseeing process groups, scope and deadlines.

This role requires close collaboration with Business Partners and Program members, especially EPSO (execution), IPSO (Industry) and DT&A and Front Office implementation teams.

In addition to Global Finance Transformation activities, the specialist will support other transformation initiatives with functional expertise.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

Strong operational experience is ideal. Candidates should have several or more of the following:

  • Experience from a finance or technology consulting firm
  • Participation in finance transformation projects as internal or external resources
  • Experience working in project mode across individual contributor to leadership roles
  • Experience in finance transformation projects, especially in Commercial flows
  • Experience in companies in agriculture or commodity businesses
  • Experience in international environments
  • Experience in process design and IT tool implementation
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with different business groups
  • Experience and expertise on SAP S/4 for SD and/or FI modules
  • Fundamental understanding of core accounting and finance processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze information and form action plans
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure and be results-oriented

Languages

Education in Business Administration or related field with majors in Information Systems and/or Finance/Accounting and/or Process & Organization Management.
